Application

Admins can sell digital applications or Software with licenses by attaching a zip file of the Software and specifying version details. This feature allows flexibility in managing and delivering applications.

Add a Digital Application

• Access the Applications Section: Go to your WordPress Dashboard.
• Navigate to Products > Applications.
• Add a New Application: Click on the Add New button.
• Attach the Application File: Upload the zip file of the application to be sold.
• Add Versions: Specify the versions of the application as needed.

This will open the Application Page. Enter the application’s name and select the application type from the drop-down menu. Click on Save.

Note: Once users have selected and saved the settings, then the further options will be displayed.

Add Application Releases

Admins can manage and release application updates by specifying version details, files, and compatibility information. Follow these steps to create a new application release:

• Navigate to Application Releases: On the right sidebar of the Applications section, locate Application Releases.
• Click on the ➕ icon to begin.
• Enter Version Details: In the Version text box, type the version number (e.g., 1.2.0).
• Attach the Release File:Click the Choose File button under Release File and upload the appropriate application file.
• Provide a Changelog:Add a short description of the updates or changes in the new version in the Changelog text box.
• Specify Compatibility Details: Tested Up To: Enter the WordPress version up to which the application has been tested.
• Minimum WordPress Version: Specify the lowest WordPress version required to run the application.
• Minimum PHP Version: Enter the minimum PHP version needed for the application.

Adding Application Details and Gallery

Admins can provide comprehensive details for an application by filling out descriptions, uploading documentation, and creating a gallery. Follow these steps:

• Select the Stable Release: From the Stable Release drop-down menu, choose the appropriate version for the application.
• Add a Short Description: Enter a concise summary of the application in the Short Description text box.
• Provide Documentation: Add detailed instructions or information about the application in the Documentation text box.
• Enter Support Information: Specify support details, such as contact information or troubleshooting steps, in the Support text box.
• Create a Gallery: Click the ➕ Add button to upload a file image.
• Provide a description for the image in the Gallery section.

Note: Admin can Add more than one screenshot in the Gallery option.

The saved application will appear in the Applications table.

In the Products section, navigate to All Products, then click on the Add New button to create a new product or select Edit to modify an existing product.

Linking a Product to an Application

Admins can associate products with specific applications by following these steps:

• Access License Manager Settings: Go to the Product Data section and navigate to the License Manager tab.
• Select an Application: Locate the Select Application drop-down menu.
• Choose the desired application to associate with the product.
• Save Changes: Click the Update button to save the settings.

Impact on product page

All the other descriptions will be displayed in the sections below

• After the user placed the order successfully.
• Navigate to the My Account > License Key.
• Click on the View button.
• Navigate to the Downloads section, where the user can see the Version and Release Date of the application and can download them by clicking on the Download button.
